TED-Ed: What is depression?

Helen M. Farrell explores symptoms and treatments of depression in this short TED-Ed lesson. The animated video 'subtly' references 'The Black Dog' in it. If you're new to the Black Dog, it's worth a watch to get a greater understanding of what depression means or what its effects are. The WHO reports that depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide and Simon Sinek recently stated 'Generation Z' is more like 'Generation D' since it has the highest rates of depression of any generation before.
