Hungry for Change a documentary I, both because I'm a foodie and a modern day hunter gatherer, really want to see. From the trailer I get there is a lot of insights that I already know, but it never hurts to learn more.
I have been on the Paleo bandwagon for nearly 15 months now, and I reckon I eat over 80% clean. Sure, I fall off the wagon sometimes on saturdays, but mostly I eat clean natural unprocessed foods. It helped me get rid of over 25kg, it helped me feel better, it made be a better cook and it gave me a creative outlet. But most of all it taught me to take care of myself and understand my body and overall health. At the time I post this, I'm into my 6th week of something called Alternate Day Fasting. During this, I alternate days where I consume no more than 500 calories. On eating days I eat my three Paleo meals as per usual. I guess I am one of the few people in the world who lost 3 kilo's during Christmas holidays! (Festivus, excuse me).
Switching my lifestyle completely brought a lot of structure into my life and can't imagine ever going back. If you're interested in learning more, get in touch! I'm always eager to talk health or food. :)
