He's so spot on with this article and his views on the power of companies in media today. Media has changed so much past 10 years; us as individuals all gained so much power, platforms and means to raise our voices, but we grow weary of fighting the good fight so quickly.
Someone who would certainly agree is Swedish director Fredrik Gertten, who became the subject of his own documentary on the release of his documentary Bananas!* 'the documentary Dole food company doesn't want you to see'. Dole did everything in their power to ensure Bananas!* didn't see the light of day. Seeing the power of a major corporation over media is astonishing. Watch the full documentary here.
