Brutalist Architecture recently sparked my interest. Concrete and very linear buildings that seem to lack face, but mostly impressive use of materials. I think there is a certain attraction in everything about it. For instance the impressive Buffalo City's Court Building. Imagine walking in this building to be judged. It communicates a very clear message, amazing. I recently came across a list of brutalist architectures on Wikipedia! It might not be everyone's particular choice, but I kinda digg the 1984-esque totalitarianism about it.
