Here is list of items to help with your online privacy. Now, these will help, but anyone willing can still find out anything, but at least it's better than nothing.
Please, feel free to copy, discuss, share, expand and update this list below as you please.

UPDATE March 10th 2017: I was recently made aware TrueCrypt development has been discontinued. Here is a list of free alternatives.

If you're wondering why cryptography is important to you and why it should matter, have a look at the Crypto Party Handbook. There's also the 'Surveillance Self Defence Project' by the Electronic Frontier Foundation that's worth a read. Still hungry for more? In 2002 the EFF published an article with the top 12 ways to protect your online privacy.
It's sad that it has come to this. None of these tools should have to be used. DemocracyWow.
Please take a moment to consider your own privacy and why it should matter to you. Before you think: 'people who protect their privacy have something to hide', because this is what we're made to believe. Don't ever fall for the "If you do no wrong you have nothing to hide", Prism was a big secret. If you think that privacy is only there for when you have bad things to hide, you can drop off you PIN code, passwords and the lot in my email.
Because what we do, isn't anyone's business except our own. And certainly not the business of strangers.
